Originally from Italy, Alberto graduated in Physiotherapy from the Università degli Studi di Bari Aldo Moro in Italy with a First-Class Honours Degree.
Alberto’s interest in movement and rehabilitation began through his experience in football. After playing for the professional U.S. Lecce Academy, he dealt with recurrent muscle injuries. He became deeply motivated to explore rehabilitation. This led him to pursue a career in physiotherapy.
After graduating, he worked in a physiotherapy clinic in southern Italy. He treated both public and private patients. His work covered a wide spectrum of musculoskeletal conditions. During this time, he collaborated closely with a highly skilled osteopath. This experience strongly inspired him to pursue a career in osteopathy.
He is currently on his second year of osteopathy studies at HSU. He continues to develop his manual therapy skills there. He expands his knowledge of anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and pain science. Having experienced overload injuries, he has a strong physiological understanding of how manual techniques can enhance recovery. He uses soft tissue techniques, lymphatic drainage, and joint mobilisation. These can help after intensive training sessions, repetitive strain injuries and in cases of posture-related muscle tension (e.g. desk job).
Alberto is also an trained massage therapist, having completed a Level 4 Diploma in Sports Massage Therapy with ProActive Ltd.
He is deeply committed to enhancing his knowledge continuously. He dedicates time each day to further his understanding of both physiotherapy and osteopathy. He employs an evidence-based, hands-on approach!
Outside of work, he enjoys outdoor activities. He likes running and playing sports. He practices martial arts and dancing. And of course, he loves cooking as a true Italian food lover.
