Eleanor Tetlow Acupuncture Practitioner BSc hons MBAcC

Originally from London, Eleanor received acupuncture from a young age. The impact of this and her extensive travels to Asia encouraged her to study Chinese medicine as a healing system and a way of life.

Eleanor is a fully accredited member of the British Acupuncture Council (MBAcC) after completed a BSc Hon’s degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture from the University of Westminster, London in 2008. Her degree included Western and Eastern medicine. Modules in western medicine included anatomy, pathology, physiology and pathophysiology.

As part of her additional training and volunteering, Eleanor has practiced in the NHS Gateway clinic in south London, at Neal's Yard Therapy rooms in Borough market, London, Bridge, and at the University Polyclinic near Oxford Street.

Eleanor undertook post-graduate training in China in 2009, at the prestigious Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine and Zhejiang Chinese Medical University in Hangzhou. In China, Eleanor worked alongside doctors who employ acupuncture to aid fertility, ease menstrual cramps and headaches, and rehabilitate stroke victims. She is also trained in Facial Acupuncture after completing training courses with Dr Ping Zhang and Virgina Doran. Eleanor believes that acupuncture should be available to everyone and operates a low cost acupuncture clinic at Body Allianace on Tuesday mornings from 9am - 1pm.
